Operations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the
! u8 q# X) ^ G" D- C6 Z, h% eprocedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service,

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
6 _7 C+ t* ^& a* a8 f$ `/ M1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and % Z& s" N4 K, g
beverage items.
# G ]( v! e( |, |0 Y; _3 K8 m7 [. _& H+ n
2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the
, b8 D/ V( f: t) J" S6 Ibar and debit floats.! n' H1 q5 P0 Q# \, G

3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of ! M% o9 P& ~' t9 J0 Q0 C
each shift, and upon closing.

4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular 1 I0 B) ~" q$ n1 X7 y+ f% K1 ~
attention to areas used by customers including bar counters and 6 m( Z" y- y2 I: O1 } D
seating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.

5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in
. J" E- C( u A. E0 {# istorage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol
3 }. d5 K9 Y9 t% G1 B* `3 Fproducts, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.: G$ @1 m. q, _

6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close
1 I# H+ R) u# G$ Umonitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a ) o+ v! Z3 `6 N, V$ v- s @
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in
3 m+ z& L8 q1 i0 ] Baccordance with Students' Union policies.

7) Training part-time staff in a manner consistent with maintaining a
, c% W5 h5 `1 phigh standard of customer service and effective operation of the room.

QUALIFICATIONS:

" i% U+ a- ?4 E* x7 [& w2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume
. |. s, n( k% moperation.6 O% m ?4 k4 H. i$ v

3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in 6 Y( `7 o7 Y# l
accordance with Students' Union policy.

6 N1 h7 r, Z+ C, V) \3 y4 G4) Good physical condition, the ability to handle full beer kegs.
