1. Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies.
; K$ A; A/ F4 O1 h2. Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.
3 Y# V, j% C& J4 h3. Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms. % |1 A3 B3 @( `- G8 [# ~( E

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:
; k& ?+ r& a6 o9 S" c. o) ~
2 s/ y0 k3 u" I0 h1. MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.
* G" P2 m9 v+ r4 ?3 A. k2. Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.& ?1 k/ O0 V) j, g5 x2 f
3. Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous. 4 G/ H- t# c: g* { U
4. Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.9 B0 j) C h- |3 y4 e
5. Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.
