DOORPERSON (RATT)

. I) k. e) R7 A% P: QJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

- ~: B; O- s8 sDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
% C, l" i. }" [9 [6 T1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
, |& w( E6 R% u9 M+ X8 y! j3 {
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

" q* f; W6 ?  r6 Q4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
! L/ w5 _: J7 k8 X, _% uconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.
! o# d6 \: D8 F% x3 }9 k4 K1 J
' \& F4 R: I1 d2 E- I5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
* s% R! H' J/ ]& D6 P% W% Xarea when required.

) z. T5 y# @. G3 V+ k- V, n  l6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
; U% Z  i2 [3 F7 aManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
6 m1 H% X6 s5 {calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
