Food Service Worker II - Food Services

" [0 z# ?) o- q% ?/ rJOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior  
" v" p2 A/ u; E1 _- @) c# U# tOperations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will  
) i/ n+ Z* C. {8 M% iassist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
9 l$ v/ ?4 a3 C* ~3 o7 L# ?- [& _1)              Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display  
food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen  
; Y- A1 z3 q, j" S* Earea.
& K4 e! _$ e! }. k* n  D
2) Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public  
' F) ?: z7 n" L% uclients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3)              Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as  
' J- K* E& J1 y! D/ N7 Bper Capital Health standards.
) X, T% _) }  q9 b
4)              Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to  
work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services  
operating hours.
* P# r7 N, c7 b% L' M5 @+ R
" }' \+ O( o3 x$ V5) Serve as cashier when required.

7 g+ h2 R( a5 P6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior  
" X0 n# q. h! ?; L$ WOperations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

: P# W  ]7 R9 b# JQUALIFICATIONS;
$ z. [) @' T" G. w( |1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe  
food handling and storage techniques.
5 x/ s: |' X6 g, ~) C; U8 Y1 [' h
2)              Some cooking/baking experience.

* k: O7 K  [- o7 u3) Cashier experience.
, o7 V+ e* O: C* M
4 U& ?1 N: d' N9 O5 a  c4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

9 a3 G4 c1 t8 u  b* y5) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

7 R+ i% B$ P2 v% _% G- _6) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
