ECBEA was approached by the Asian Chinese Opera Association to announce

followings rare operatic performance.  The organizer has offered 2 free

tickets for each school; please select 2 students from your school to

The Asian Chinese Opera Association and the Hong Kong SingFai Opera
+ I2 f, o$ N- @! [Association (Children Div.) is putting together an Opera performance at

theatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2

instructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
6 J% B. z  d7 v- u7 ?4 C, k+ X* Tthe
Cantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
8 l) b! e/ `3 e2 C/ OAchievements
in Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts
/ [. ~6 W0 G, s6 X' ~' N1 @& {Development
% Q7 B  I% {  B, |% iCouncil.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The
# W# J; z* R# c" y* _& e2 Y0 D$ r
( S* U3 E1 b: j2 i  V: qperformance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a
