the
followings rare operatic performance.  The organizer has offered 2 free

tickets for each school; please select 2 students from your school to

Association (Children Div.) is putting together an Opera performance at
SUB
+ h/ t& E( |5 E+ ^& Ztheatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2
' k% S. T" c! y
instructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
the
Cantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
# H% g# y* v9 H, f3 x, d2 `/ R2 zAchievements
* w% ^3 G2 U8 i1 I' f# H, F6 |in Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts
# d8 K5 q7 j9 a( V) @Development
* n2 K7 C  C" W9 R0 z! \& f4 bCouncil.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The
! Y5 L( M7 j# t  I9 s4 S
performance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a
few
songs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to
5 U3 J) A3 h! e0 M! U8 k3 X& S1 Ksold-out
crowds in various Hong Kong venues and received rave review from the
Hong Kong
