Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the

. Y' [0 L: B+ P% G* pBe Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and
2 @) o% N$ Y8 C* y* x! gwork the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft4 d8 M/ B5 @* O ^% a; B- O
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
9 r+ i R) b+ X5 L1 N6 CChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the) ]* }9 }4 r! }1 X" o* L
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.: b9 N. o9 ^2 y6 l" |5 F
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for, l9 E( r3 W4 T7 G1 ~/ z6 G/ ]
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the
) w/ k8 N6 R% g1 A5 N3 D5 Urecyclables.( x, J, U$ @& ~. S* h
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be: }: _# M/ ~2 q5 m! r; D
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening. p0 X. F; J9 R/ z
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing/ X' {# ]9 a+ l9 Q6 }+ n
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late2 B$ `/ v, H! M, z2 G' r
hours are part of this crew’s duties." N: L0 }. ]' W% J; e
Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
' `/ @! i+ ~% Y: _6 {- Nfestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide5 o6 G$ f. V* p$ q$ Y
programs to visitors to the festival.1 g" ]3 a# v! I5 x
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
( v- x/ X1 s2 G" x2 L- f/ Ceveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.+ Y! L% p' P+ t1 ^% O4 d* }
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
- S( k1 q2 B/ f9 e6 a8 z9 }; mevents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the

$ n% v# j0 k7 M: h5 KSite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is( Z4 Y! C; ~* h
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you: i; g* O% m# v. x4 q! ?& O
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
" h5 x+ f0 ^+ {8 @Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training! R5 |, G! a: T5 u
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.9 T+ z' e7 x) `2 j' P! {7 `
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be" W2 v+ f ]. Q2 Z$ ~
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
3 [+ P* \8 }* y% o& R! ]& c4 K5 n3 kairport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival' a. c9 L; p4 H
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
