Alberta Corporate Service Centre , Edmonton - The Facility Services Branch of ACSC is accountable for the provision of excellent customer service to government ministries in the area of facility management requirements. As a member of the Planning Team, you will need not only excellent written and oral communication skills but also you will need to utilize your expertise of Computer Assisted Drafting (CAD) to support projects from planners and operational support staff that will include, floor plan layouts, furniture system layouts, millwork details, and updating the existing drawing inventory that have been requested from various ministries. You will use your strong creativity and problem- solving skills to work with space limitations to meet client needs. Excellent time management and organizational skills are required to meet deadlines within tight timeframes and to prioritize diverse activities.

Qualifications: Related 2-year technical diploma plus directly related experience. Working knowledge of Computer Assisted Drafting will be required. Knowledge of government (Infrastructure) space standards and processes and Alberta Building Codes would be an asset. Equivalencies may be considered.

Note: Travel and a valid Alberta drivers license is required. Final candidates will need to undergo a security clearence.
