JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
! X- o8 S( b2 h6 W- ySU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
3 o- [& \% D$ s1 z! H q8 x. ]' |Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
7 u: z+ V9 i! Y; X' ^3 `2 ~7 ~of Course Pack production.) Z9 {5 D# `- l5 q0 ^# V
# f% Q( N5 U6 o8 d$ b1 nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 B. j3 B: j7 {9 a1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning ) ~& c, N8 H O* {% Q# |
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.: N6 l8 L- b9 Z, ?. y; y
- y+ l9 l7 o; j8 G% {/ U
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
3 i9 W$ F$ T# q( Yprint queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.
9 N7 c, Q5 F) N6 f+ m6 D
- L9 Q" K: D3 K4 X. G3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of ! ?$ {9 E. X' X" n
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and
0 N1 [! C( |+ ^# nkeeping appropriate and accurate records.

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment
$ l: L; R- B$ C! `failures to the Operations Manager.! F2 k7 ~% s) S. u! c, ^; h

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,
) j9 b4 z; R5 l, a" ~+ ^and adhere to regulations as appropriate.1 F* |1 p z" _1 W

6) To contribute positively to a cooperative working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
7 n9 N8 F) X) `8 Z) [1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
& J$ j: B" g9 D: u2 X1 N1 w6 v1 D2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication
0 E+ M4 S9 m l' ]3 N$ _+ Bskills.
5 f0 ]0 x6 p: s5 o8 e5 s! ?* ?- ^) q7 A* a- e! C3 }( J
3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.
