+ x$ x' u. D R" }: w6 x/ SSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
# C* {# n" l( j( [# E; a8 t. WSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects 6 W% x8 S: h% g9 j' }% w
of Course Pack production.) } Y- @. k$ j) z' E
: o1 k, G( I/ UDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:/ k9 Q4 s4 h0 m, r! ~
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
7 G9 n8 z" s" q3 Yof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.
9 g: h0 W9 Z) n6 @& O4 t# K0 Y5 C) r7 Q* [1 }
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including - A$ {6 ]6 B$ B# F( g9 {
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.
# l3 L, i4 N) n% u9 \9 c. w' g! n* h1 M4 J. ]. M: B
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
/ d: l: t& M2 U7 @# Ucourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and
! {' _. Q# I( `& nkeeping appropriate and accurate records.

! f/ y r5 e1 d4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment
% b' u8 t4 c+ C' R- m6 Vfailures to the Operations Manager.5 S. v$ w# Z# n$ z9 B

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,
, T5 x* }5 |6 x5 Uand adhere to regulations as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:9 t2 I. F5 ?* Y, k* R
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent." D* F+ p. E/ K, j7 a! ]
2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication
# m# r- A# S4 ]- n3 cskills.2 F! d$ ~. N* d8 W( C3 [/ x& N
) p$ G% y2 M* }/ w1 d8 e+ w; e
3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.
