the fact that the university housing has no more space for newcomers
* {& p$ ]3 t. Y+ Yand most of the newly admitted students who applied for housing were 7 ^* `) U# N$ o3 o! `
asked to look for a residence on open market.& D+ ~, X2 ]5 D' Z, I3 a; ?. I
$ Q, U: ~; Q2 o# |& ]While the average cost of living for a typical graduate student has : r2 Z1 H# c2 _; D% g5 j
increased by something more than 70% percent we are getting paid

. c0 i- @+ D/ Aadmission letter (18000 CAD + 1500 CAD for international students 4 j7 X0 P- F. o5 n9 b/ E
=19500CAD. What I get is something around 1000CAD/month!!! after 1 G7 x* J/ n3 w* b7 @
tuition fee and taxes). To make the argument easy to understand just

us) has to pay twice as much as I was paying for housing when I was

initiative in raising the issue of increasing financial aid for
