EDMONTON - A woman was killed Monday when the truck she was driving turned over and crushed her beneath its roof.

0 @% z A+ J/ c5 [) UThe woman was driving a gravel truck two kilometres north of Westlock when it veered off the road. The truck rolled across Highway 44, trapping and crushing the woman in the cab.

" X& t8 l7 p8 |8 N+ w DAudrey Wiedrick, 57, from Westlock, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to RCMP. She was not wearing a seat belt.
) p9 A: Z8 L( BWiedrick worked for Alberta Highway Services and was hauling a water tank and asphalt packer when the accident occurred, said Jason Maloney, spokesman for the Alberta occupational health and safety office.) ^# B% m( e5 w# M
3 @8 H. b! S/ k B" AIt is not known what caused the woman to drive the truck off the road. Occupational health and safety and the RCMP are investigating.- v' p6 o+ L3 g4 C# d

"The truck is considered a workplace, that was the driver's workplace," Maloney said, explaining why they are investigating.; H [6 f( G8 I9 c: }
