I sent an email to CIC buffalo yesterday inquiring about my case and got the reply:+ y: J/ [+ o$ Q3 X
8 m" z8 h% Y0 M, _7 {, R
"We have requested background information from other government 3 K2 d# ?8 d. poffices(s). Unfortunately, we cannot provide a date when the processing# n) n* w/ h) O2 I3 Q+ B! x
of your application will be complete. We cannot respond to requests for4 V6 E' K4 z( v: X0 P. Y
the status of your application before this information is received." # Z- G( [4 b' J# V ; \: a& v; X! D+ s4 m/ J7 nDoes this mean I am undergoing background check? Is it a normal BC and security background check(SBC)? Anybody has idea about how long it is gonna take? Thank you!
