About background check

, G1 f* T) P) c9 }: h0 kI sent an email to CIC buffalo yesterday inquiring about my case and got the reply:

+ X" Z. R1 U. Z3 T$ ~4 g# V"We have requested background information from other government
offices(s).  Unfortunately, we cannot provide a date when the processing
/ y9 A* v/ {1 M, V0 Z. M* X; Aof your application will be complete.  We cannot respond to requests for
% @, }" g" v- H8 i- h! Jthe status of your application before this information is received."
9 g( I: d2 V" q; D
  U+ n5 {  T) n- t+ @3 uDoes this mean I am undergoing background check? Is it a normal BC and security background check(SBC)? Anybody has idea about how long it is gonna take? Thank you!

不用太担心，他们的回复都是同一格式，不代表一定在作背景调查。我也收到过这样的回复，后来request了一个CAIPS NOTES，发现是不知为什么我老婆得Medical Examinaion的结果他们一直没收到。现在我们就要landing了。你也可以request一个CAIPS NOTES，看看到底是怎么回事。

不一定就是背景调查，　也可能是查再加拿大有无犯罪记录什么的，不用担心。
