Apply to Extend my mom's visitor stay

" ?7 p. ]% m' ?9 `0 CMy mom's visitor status in Canada is expiring. We are planning to apply for her extension. I did read the application package but have two questions:

/ f5 l0 F6 g' n* B3 s) E0 k1. The reasons for an extension. Can we use the reason: we want her help to take care of our new born baby? There are people say it is a bad reason. Is it true?

' O2 C" h  K  H2. In the Document Checklist - Visitor. Proof of means of support, as specified. Since we are taking care of her, what are the required documents for "proof of means of support"?
