Apply to Extend my mom's visitor stay

' l: m  j* F. G! _8 vMy mom's visitor status in Canada is expiring. We are planning to apply for her extension. I did read the application package but have two questions:

' K9 \, I6 t) O  @8 \/ E# ?9 a, H1. The reasons for an extension. Can we use the reason: we want her help to take care of our new born baby? There are people say it is a bad reason. Is it true?

: s$ }: H1 n. |7 U2. In the Document Checklist - Visitor. Proof of means of support, as specified. Since we are taking care of her, what are the required documents for "proof of means of support"?
