Apply to Extend my mom's visitor stay

4 U2 z1 g: A4 yMy mom's visitor status in Canada is expiring. We are planning to apply for her extension. I did read the application package but have two questions:

' o; G0 U, R7 S; g1. The reasons for an extension. Can we use the reason: we want her help to take care of our new born baby? There are people say it is a bad reason. Is it true?

) \) H' A8 d1 x2. In the Document Checklist - Visitor. Proof of means of support, as specified. Since we are taking care of her, what are the required documents for "proof of means of support"?
