Ph.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
enthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
' h* C. J  r7 a( N- yand circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
Potential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
integrated system/circuit design.

: k1 e# w3 P, [2 N" Q' VThe qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
3 J8 c& U3 ]9 [4 j; i(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
+ P! P' Z( h) v- g(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
