2 p4 ^1 r4 Z3 t- L1 fAfter I settled down in Edmonton, I celebrated Canada Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Halloween and Remembrance Day. All of them arevery interesting to me, but I have to say that the most enjoyable holiday is Halloween.
9 f* H$ ^, Y, `4 }My teacher told me I should prepare candies, and many children would come to my home and ask for them. So, I bought many candies from Zellers and Safeway. When I got back home with the candies, my wife told me that there were not enough, so I went to Safeway again and bought more./ I: X% U, _$ ]- y4 _2 ~" w
My child was shy and didn’t speak much English, so I taught her how to shout “Trick or Treat”. After two days of training, she is perfect at shouting “Trick or Treat” .
1 S/ X2 i' G; B0 ]7 WOctober 31st is Halloween. I got up very early that day. My wife prepared chicken which I was going to bring to class for a potluck. My child was very happy because she had already been waitingfor this day for a long time.
8 h- b5 I/ d5 e# tIn the afternoon, we had a potluck in the class. Yuong Sook, a Korean girl, made some sushi which looked very beautiful. Chun Yuan, a Chinese girl, cooked some bouilli which tasted very delicious. Of course my wife cooked the best food because they were all cleared off all gone.

My child went out with a bag. I stayed at homewith my wife, waiting for neighbours' kids. To my surprise, only three children came to my home, and I was left with many unclaimedcandies. And, one hour later, my child came back with a full bag. “Dad,” She said, “My bag is full. I have many candies now. What an interesting day!”- Q1 U/ D+ I/ W. y9 w
“You are right, my child.” I said, “Halloween is the most interesting holiday in Canada, I think.”
