Shifts:            8:00am to11:00am - Wednesday and Friday

            

JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

$ i8 _! U  u. e8 F' ~ DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
$ }, I/ |! X) [, c% K; s
1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.
, Q) C" L% U# v8 X5 M% ?
- S+ O! {& v8 B2 X" v7 k2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.
, d5 k8 s! z( Q4 y" f, ?
4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

8 d+ G% G- P# x( \- vQUALIFICATIONS:

! M$ y2 H3 t# ?9 B7 D1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

2) Cashier experience.

) T" o4 ]' g, n; e3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
. f' D; {! _/ E# ]3 K! }
4 M  j( s, [3 ~) Q) @5 ^- T1 C4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.
1 T% k5 y; V- ^. _* _
5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
