Staff

• provide opportunities for staff development and growth

Programs/Services

5 T5 J1 }* w m3 U# y K8 p& v• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends& f, L, B0 n1 Q/ j/ `* u) O

• maintenance of appropriate reporting

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities5 U. O4 m* P) I$ T
• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders

• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups* e9 V2 A7 l2 E2 e/ T6 V2 g' G
• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups( ?! H6 E$ Q( _) W( l9 a# ^
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.* ~7 q3 ~& W! g
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff

- University degree in a related field; . h, l' `+ v3 {
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;* O* S$ s+ ?! j' l8 R/ q
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
- H0 W# _% i4 L% j& s- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization 8 X5 G- ]: B: J! E/ i

Salary
8 d' F) [* j5 P- H7 g- t% q: [- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
