烤蛋糕

• 1/2 cup butter " G8 }+ ~( ?9 W" _ m
• 1 cup sugar
4 b8 u" T, l4 `5 U• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
2 Z Z7 L/ t1 M• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)$ j" o1 s; a7 E% `
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

PREPARATION:
% Q6 y% P T+ Q) J( XBeat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. ! |* u( i6 O/ R9 w9 `; G7 _
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
) t' E) j- B+ s6 }) I( D9 U9 Z4 OBake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.6 K$ s- ?$ N: Z9 O8 w1 F

这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。

检查是否烤熟的办法: 用牙签插一下cake中间,若没有什么粘在牙签上就熟了。 |
