ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
5 P  F: w$ ]3 X0 g6 vUniversity of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
  O  D* O; _* |- O0 T% B% ^) vrecombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
: p# [& t8 q5 u* b$ Otechnology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
to apply for government funding with us.

  B! i% Q6 Z4 N; L% @/ X% gQualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
4 d3 _0 B) F" z" Irelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
. O- z6 S0 p& ois a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
% |  u# k8 w2 A7 Zthe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
% o; R- j4 _; l$ Q% Qaccurate and complete research records.

This position is conditional to a successful application of external
funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
; D7 e/ s0 c6 w* }9 f2 N$ m3 R: x6 jsalary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
