Biotech Technologist Position Available

Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering.

$ Z" r; o0 H5 r/ I1 y  KExtensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.

0 j% X% v9 j1 yPractical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting.

5 Z& P& m1 p) s, xHave good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.

Ability to precisely follow written and verbal directions.

Previous industrial working experience is a great asset.

Minimum Qualifications
& k1 a" {% u$ x) i# N- c2 g  vBachelor or Master degree in cell biology, biochemistry or other related areas.
