Biotech Technologist Position Available

Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering. - m" e9 C B* S0 X
2 e; D5 D, T9 Z1 d2 PSkills and Abilities Required
8 `6 S6 f5 \* o3 d# \Extensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.

Practical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting. $ K+ D5 t% Z7 [1 s) V0 e

Have good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.+ t6 h$ E1 T; c3 I R% q

Ability to precisely follow written and verbal directions.

Minimum Qualifications
