cliché really means overused, predictable, 陈词滥调, 了无新意. for example, in chinese shows, to imply that a woman is pregnant , she will always suddenly rush into the washroom and start to vomit, that's a cliche scene. so cliche!& J- g. E9 D8 l1 X5 T% `" C: P
but not rouma at all.% y+ }8 q1 ]# H( T- Q4 ?$ U0 h# Z
so far I think "cheesy" is really THE word, as per the slang dic. |
