There are two ESL Programs available at CCI-LEX and we offer continuous

The LEX Program is open to citizens and residents of Canada, and classes run 2 i* J0 ?5 I( q3 X3 ~+ p$ B
during the daytime (9-3) and in the evenings (6-8) from Monday to Thursday -
6 M6 }, ]5 H3 O- b0 h) O6 gthere are no Friday classes. The cost for the daytime Program is $20.00 (4 . L! o- k U8 }" e
weeks) and the evening classes are $10.00 (4 weeks). We offer 4 levels of - z+ k v$ F! o8 d5 `% @
English as a Second Language study - Beginner (CLB levels 1/2), Intermediate / l8 p6 j) u* V
1 (CLB levels 3/4), Intermediate 2 (CLB levels 4/5) and Advanced (CLB levels 0 A& L8 x% D3 k$ T1 w/ h9 M0 Q7 i
6 and above), as well as a Literacy class for the absolute beginner 8 C8 {" z/ l7 A6 }9 ^2 x3 `4 f
(Pre-Benchmark CLB levels). The majority of these classes are led by
9 ^; q" I& z2 Q" q) zprofessional volunteer ESL instructors and the focus is on helping new adult ! I: a: K8 H1 W) c& Q
Canadians learn a second language.2 k2 N! f7 O& {7 N

The CCI Program is open to citizens, residents & temporary Visa holders
p9 C$ i o' F8 a(student, work, visitor), and those classes run 9-12 and 1-4 from Monday $ d7 i9 m% R' t3 U+ c, c( \( m
through Friday, with an average class price of $300.00 (4 weeks). These ! L9 @. z) h! K! a
classes are led by professional contracted instructors and we offer a
Y$ s2 |1 I8 @6 ~3 I$ R& d2 F3 `2 zvariety of skill focused ESL classes in the mornings, followed by different
/ H+ B" u8 O2 c% ydevelopmental courses in the afternoon, such as Communication Skills and
' h5 Z" O0 N& f, u( `6 V1 UPre-TOEFL.

2 V$ x) \5 K/ f* |3 EIn order to register, all potential students must take our placement test -
( s" y. W7 ~3 \: C' cno appointment necessary. Please, allow yourself at least one hour to 5 ~7 M4 _( I' e
write the placement test and if possible, we will assess the results of your * ~+ G6 r4 {5 Y( e* \( @" L2 H% p8 y
test immediately and begin the registration process that same day. |
