Question about parking ticket

Since the weather is so cold right now, I cannot start my car anymore until the weather comes better. However, I have a question about the parking. The place I am parking right now is not allowed to park during the day time unless you have a permit, so do you think I can leave my car right there for few more days. I did not get any ticket past 2 days, but i am still worrying. So is there exc eption for parking ticket such as the bad weather? Thanks..
