# ?8 G$ G% }1 h: N0 o. H# n% s @: VThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
9 q+ t$ W1 }8 Cbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them., _4 ~5 X- }9 T3 M- S! d4 j
! b* T- ?$ n! t2 @Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials; r) c9 W6 J# Q$ g
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
9 }8 ^- r0 F. l) ocertified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
