EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for- d; y( ~) `* L1 n
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.2 E; {7 m! i8 f8 J5 N4 N V* n
2 [8 i" b: C; ] I+ UTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
" ]& }# Q0 y1 F- g( v7 {1 Yof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different" ], q0 z6 b$ r: D+ v. K
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
