2 N- r( [+ M% k2 d# hThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
$ ], d) U0 {7 _becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

0 B) W H/ I% _( G* |' `* i0 ^/ s8 A/ bTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials: S1 O# ]4 ?+ Y# b
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different+ W. `2 T/ |# t
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.1 }) y1 h4 E4 z8 w
