EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。$ P3 ~% S% M( h1 [' u$ @2 P) F

时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。+ l7 i# {# w2 Y! Y; q/ }

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
1 {( z& w9 L2 @7 \' {# ?becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

- j6 t2 Q+ f0 e8 G' X3 NTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
: v* p* H, V+ Gof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different2 X% R# O9 Y4 h' v
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.$ J- o$ G7 W+ q) K/ L8 ^
