时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。2 k* \) C# l8 ]% l( D

地点:The Derrick Club, 3500 - 119st, edmonton

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
, l. |* k9 @$ U0 _becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

8 Z3 H) s9 |0 b2 {+ M5 oTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
+ ?1 ~; Q7 S; U/ Zof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different( m6 ]# Z, U9 b4 F; @+ c9 e
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.4 N; `+ f) M. Q6 B$ w; \9 z% R

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
