时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

Description:
' r- f m+ Y" X+ r# P6 d4 sThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for+ K( F/ C4 @5 N: U8 N; E
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

( C H1 n( T! P d& ~Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials4 U. [" c( n2 g) X/ N
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different' F! ?6 W5 @8 g, w
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events./ S* K% R8 }% V

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
