( T$ d, ]0 B# @' z3 ?- Y3 K5 O9 mEDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

1 ?1 U& b; U5 a, Q b; n时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。9 U' ? z9 v9 a% k

地点：The Derrick Club, 3500 - 119st, edmonton

Description:& m! C: I) L; r8 b; \
This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
$ n! D& W" F( p% |, x7 m% I/ sbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.+ v+ d4 O& A- G
% K* R, v) U. e
Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials. u" l% e9 a+ q/ l4 i
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different# r+ n. z4 l/ v
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
