好了,现在这样的机会来了:

) _2 T; R3 @" w8 G1 y( B% VEDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

! s7 L1 x( \! o, k- e- e+ mThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
: b3 C3 z5 }) U7 `) E8 r% Lbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials) F% i/ d5 {) H" g$ J
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different/ v, O6 n% i ]4 \, p; X+ H
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events. {! `. A3 E/ e7 n; z! X6 i
