好了，现在这样的机会来了：

EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。, P0 A s5 E; d. [8 ]/ I

0 s H/ Y+ j# e8 @1 D$ c/ V: qThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for: E q4 V9 t* [; X7 y
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.( b& m2 v$ z ]9 A$ @

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials' f# X# }6 R5 ] W7 I8 f
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different/ C/ Z# g, p, _
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.( [: n- ^4 y3 y) o" I% B

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
