This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
. b) B" W1 i u8 X3 f7 V; \! P9 tbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them. o8 t) \) D* a: E* K

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
% E/ V" t( e8 M4 z4 u. x1 d; ^of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different" d- _/ l; x; Q2 L: A9 Y4 G5 u) q
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.$ t$ m6 m, b$ A; {0 g0 j
