. P) V6 ?- z3 A& M6 Z& g5 H+ L. EThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
% d; d, T2 c7 ?" C& t/ l8 i9 Ibecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

6 ~$ j: X/ f" {& d; ^5 RTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials ~3 m* w* `: ^/ I' u
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different. _2 i h/ Z! V' c: [
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.; k$ m' m! d" b' ]
