EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

0 o) ^# p) D5 M. f+ |0 e2 h {This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for5 y0 k. Y2 `$ m
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

$ G8 l9 P: U3 E- C I' E: `Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials, T; M3 }2 `- D3 t+ Q0 r
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different6 T' z" i8 ?/ m) C9 `) \, q
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.# X: |" e! G- d4 i1 G

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
