- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.
# T9 S, Q3 A* X2 b; l- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker
3 E0 N( A, m- G# o$ x/ F( G5 B- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team( F9 O, n* n% s5 G5 p$ T7 B" r& V
& f7 n6 N5 K8 a7 OQualifications:& L1 J' C! E: O4 Z" k# M
- post secondary diploma }9 [, g* ~( G$ g: W1 `+ ^" \5 U
- customer service and office clerical experiences
& _* ]% f$ Q, F; G# v3 `* u- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset, L- `+ M2 J2 O( G Q& j

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community% K: x/ L! K1 b8 s0 K5 n' W( ?
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services0 a$ B4 `0 F: r) g% x
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
+ a O0 w, K; u! }# U2 ^6 k! }% s- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
# {% ]4 B5 m$ S- p0 S9 F8 s/ U- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members4 ]) U p3 ^; Z' { u% B
- update ASSIST website
. P% F$ i/ M2 u P: K: d+ a2 {- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
! S( m5 I* s& Z; i; g2 }* K- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

( n( W: q4 U6 N5 _ J/ E- write quarterly and final reports for ISP& c5 g0 o- d* n& f, x4 s
- hold regular meetings with ISP team
) C# c# ^ w0 G {: r- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

, ]/ |& L& X# s2 f( g- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

Qualifications
0 ~4 U* e* h* a7 W# w" ~$ B- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education & f1 Z# X: H/ t& f ^# _! S* R
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
7 c4 `) I$ O( ~6 N. k4 O9 M- experience in community work and immigrant services
2 H6 u$ k7 m) M* i( P! H$ k- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
