Immigrant Settlement Program (ISP) at ASSIST Community Services Centre is currently seeking flexible individual to fill the following two positions:

- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker5 R. _7 V8 y& O
- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team, K: q8 T6 d9 K1 `

Qualifications:
; l+ x1 m! y/ w- post secondary diploma
3 ^5 T8 U1 R8 }2 r- customer service and office clerical experiences

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community1 q9 c/ N$ t9 i2 t4 N
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
. Z5 v- g3 n. ^, K: z6 t* x- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services5 Z% h4 v2 [' T; o0 G& L
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies1 \* h2 p3 k3 h& h, e1 B1 ^
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
7 Z5 u, y r/ u- update ASSIST website1 {$ u* Y3 X+ ?7 g$ o: X! j D9 z2 v
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre, x5 c/ g/ W, ]+ @/ O' r
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

( o* z$ b$ r* \2 v2 x- write quarterly and final reports for ISP
7 ?% P& \* y; M, h/ \- hold regular meetings with ISP team

" ^) `4 c2 g" \$ {8 M9 [( w E1 p- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education 6 V* t, p V) ^! x3 O
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
& C2 s, |9 H2 C4 q! g2 L! [, p% a- experience in community work and immigrant services
