Wow. In edmonton, if we're talking about academics, then it is definitely going to be in the following order7 a: J" q7 w, M! [) t/ t

1) Old Scona Academic

1 E. K+ r X9 ]Strathcona is more known for being a "jock" school - in other words, very athletic. It was also more populated with caucasians... I don't know if that's changed in the last 4/5 years... maybe there are more asians there now? Don't know.

" B; f% }, I! g& gAnyways, besides Strathcona being well known for sports, I have never really heard of it being well known for other attributes... Yes there is an AP program, but as far as I know, IB (as offered by Harry Ainlay) is still more renowned. Also... Harry Ainlay has a french immersion program. :) R- `7 F o4 L" [

! Z( L" G7 t+ D$ t( g. JLike I said, I graduated from high school a few years ago, maybe rankings have changed. But when I was in high school, this is what the schools I previously named above were well-known for. Hope this helped! |
