Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele

Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers

Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff9 p; k5 @+ e; o" o5 R B8 q" d6 v
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
) z. ]: b" c; m3 f4 n* N3 kDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP- W9 ~0 ~- B5 o) S, A
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS

Qualifications
7 g+ i+ O2 x- pTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
+ o, R) _! @ e* G9 C n* pRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer2 Y& e/ I; R2 V1 Q6 B& g. J: O
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
% @4 E# d. l `% L2 {5 KExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)/ B' h' [/ i" } e5 U4 p
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills2 j. [+ t. }: G; ~% ]2 Q$ W
Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure! N; [# M: Q6 V- O1 `1 X& m
