Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele+ F- i3 J* ~! Q% s8 y
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management+ J/ F& r( U( D1 X, q- m
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers

Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff' p1 w2 X' [9 ^! r* P- D
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System) K% @; Y- {2 x+ m! r+ b
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP8 j; P* W; t7 r8 F
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS( v% V) [& d! }) ~$ |
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases7 f9 L7 I; f' X3 p
Qualifications
% J0 Q7 s; j* v( u1 V& P+ C! R* n& [Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
% @( P6 \: {' X$ z7 k' V( d3 qRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
7 q5 y2 F5 ?# A* c- ^3 |2 NMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations! b4 z/ g( i% l ~, p( g0 T
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
