Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
. H; i) z& I. v( RResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
' b+ Y& ^# M- S$ ^% Z( A$ I$ AProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
! M; J  w/ Y7 t5 d$ k7 a1 cWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
% \. g+ t/ t; R; SEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
9 L, ]' g3 \3 pDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
3 M5 u" S6 e* o7 V, s. g' L  {5 n- iTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
4 ^3 B+ {$ x* |  w7 V9 M) @8 O) iRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
