Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele3 i0 M8 y6 R$ M: Z& x& j
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management8 t- R: K; Z% _9 B. N" p2 d' ]
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers- g) { Q7 o' C$ _# u t
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
; ^9 i2 v7 d6 m* V" _! xWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff6 G, z, c' w$ k9 t: T

Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP) I4 @" v& i% s1 }

Qualifications
) R2 T O# E+ [4 rTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program: P' T8 f! z. u0 e5 b
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
, ~6 x6 \7 W" ~# R1 MMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
. I. |$ [9 ^( u! fExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
