9 D/ M4 t- c8 N  o' bWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
2 l6 f$ k( P8 O! QResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
8 I+ N# R; U. _. n; ~+ u4 m) D3 xWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
" \, {: ?- s" _; d- F( U9 y0 _( d- sEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
6 _9 E/ L2 n' k# p% p7 D+ o: O, Q$ SDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
$ F. Z1 u! I* p4 ^4 k5 \. }+ \Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
/ |! p4 N( I5 {( N+ d% \Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
0 {6 r+ M9 v3 D9 R, l, k7 Y2 @6 {Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
# X2 q& a+ a, vExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
