5 {1 D/ F# o0 D1 |& P) EWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele3 T: w) Z; C( Z3 _( _. g( z \
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management* \$ U, L: N9 x4 y
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers- [0 @. i3 \6 x/ d) r" _4 l
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
9 T1 H4 c+ G: eWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
3 s( L1 e! o, p1 y1 nEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System, a2 L9 ]' _2 d# o) F3 c
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
/ C" K+ t8 J2 p& XDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
( p: @3 d+ ]# f4 X+ F" tDesigns, develops and implements MySQL relational databases# G1 X' v$ |' Q+ t# T% T6 {
Qualifications7 Z- }1 T ^8 D; n/ |+ W3 m
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
2 z4 h3 c2 C& y$ kRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer/ s. Y7 |( X1 k" [- p
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
6 X$ N( i* L! aExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
