When we were called the Sick Man of Asia, we were the Yellow Peril.9 d5 W1 e) v1 a! t5 |4 o
When we are billed to be the next Superpower, we are a threat.* _6 B4 [1 \* R" G5 b

When we closed our doors, you smuggled drugs to our markets." y" T5 _5 r" {# k+ P
When we embraced Free Trade, you blame us for taking away your jobs./ m; q, h8 R8 h$ d2 X

When we were falling apart, you marched in your troops and wanted your “fair share”.
9 z* P+ h3 g# G+ @; y) HWhen we were putting the broken pieces together again, “Free Tibet” you scream, “it was an invasion!”9 p. m5 C7 s0 r

When we embraced capitalism, you hate us for being capitalists.- b2 M9 ?& ?( z

When we have a billion people, you said we were destroying the planet.$ R" W9 |( E$ u) K' D
When we tried limiting our numbers, you said it is human rights abuse.8 V+ _; |. W7 M+ \* A8 m9 k' q; }

When we were poor, you thought we were dogs.

When we build our industries, you called us polluters.

When we buy oil, you call that exploitation and genocide.

When we were lost in chaos and rampage, you wanted rule of law for us.

Because you only get so many chances,

This big blue Earth is big enough for all of Us. |
