Normie Kwong, a legendary football fullback nicknamed the "China Clipper" after he became the first Chinese-Canadian in the CFL, has been named Alberta's new lieutenant-governor.

fullback 全卫，进攻组成员，位于四分位quarterback和半位halfback之后，和halfback合称为跑卫 (running back, RB) 。在冲锋进攻时，通常是由体型壮硕的全卫跑在前面开路，而由中卫跟在其后持球冲锋。他们必须在接到四分卫的「递球」(handoff) 后立刻抱紧球，看哨锋与其它队友阻挡的情形，来寻找任何的「洞」(hole,缝隙) ，以决定最有利的冲刺路线，并躲避防守球员加诸其身的任何擒抱与撞击。而在抛传进攻时，他们则可以前冲而变成接球员，或是协助「内攻击线锋」的队友们，来保护四分卫。速度与灵敏是跑卫的主要条件。

Clipper 有快马之意。lieutenant-governor 字面意思是副总督，意译可以是省督。


Kwong may have been the only Asian in North American professional sports when he joined the Canadian Football League in 1948 at age 18.

% H6 f/ R8 p& c# o* E$ k9 EKwong won his first Grey Cup with the Calgary Stampeders, then joined the Edmonton Eskimos and helped them win three championships in a row.

3 F) p9 r5 ?4 h: ^; TThe Edmonton Eskimos won six Grey Cup championships during Normie's time with the team. He, himself, was All Canadian Fullback five times; a two-time Schenley Award winner, Most Outstanding Canadian in 1955 and 1956 and Canadian Athlete of the Year in 1955.

: {( D' m7 e* {* HKwong, who is five feet seven inches tall and then weighed 170 pounds, racked up more than 30 CFL records before he retired from the sport in 1960.

Grey是加拿大的1904年到1911年的总督，原本想捐个杯给冰球比赛的，可惜让另一位爵士捷足先登了，只好退而求其次捐给并不是很popular的橄榄球了。

CFL现共有9只球队，东边四只西部五只，每年东西部冠军决赛的胜者捧杯。CFL的9只球队包括：

The Order of Canada是对有杰出贡献的Canadian的一种国家奖赏，算是劳模之类的，由总督颁发。从1967年开始至今已有四千人获此殊荣。
The Order of Canada奖章有三种，分别是Member, Officer 和 Companion，算是金银铜牌吧。
