Normie Kwong, a legendary football fullback nicknamed the "China Clipper" after he became the first Chinese-Canadian in the CFL, has been named Alberta's new lieutenant-governor.

fullback 全卫，进攻组成员，位于四分位quarterback和半位halfback之后，和halfback合称为跑卫 (running back, RB) 。在冲锋进攻时，通常是由体型壮硕的全卫跑在前面开路，而由中卫跟在其后持球冲锋。他们必须在接到四分卫的「递球」(handoff) 后立刻抱紧球，看哨锋与其它队友阻挡的情形，来寻找任何的「洞」(hole,缝隙) ，以决定最有利的冲刺路线，并躲避防守球员加诸其身的任何擒抱与撞击。而在抛传进攻时，他们则可以前冲而变成接球员，或是协助「内攻击线锋」的队友们，来保护四分卫。速度与灵敏是跑卫的主要条件。

4 h2 O% b1 ~0 x" S# gKwong won his first Grey Cup with the Calgary Stampeders, then joined the Edmonton Eskimos and helped them win three championships in a row.

% g9 l: i% E: t; \* k" Q9 d* [The Edmonton Eskimos won six Grey Cup championships during Normie's time with the team. He, himself, was All Canadian Fullback five times; a two-time Schenley Award winner, Most Outstanding Canadian in 1955 and 1956 and Canadian Athlete of the Year in 1955.
