Air Canada employees are required to enforce carry-on baggage size and weight restrictions, as per Transport Canada regulations. Following these restrictions ensures the comfort and safety of passengers and crew while preventing flight delays./ h: W8 F2 j+ c& Y7 B# }

Each passenger is allowed to carry on one standard article and one personal article., Z) f9 X3 |$ D8 V, _

NOT PERMITTEDSharp objects are not permitted as carry-on items. Place these and any cutting or piercing items in your "Checked Baggage."

Toy guns, sporting articles such as golf clubs, baseball bats, skates, etc. are not permitted as carry-on items.

Syringes or needles for personal medical use are allowed onboard providing the needle guards are intact, and that they are accompanied by the prescription medication with a printed label identifying the medication name and the issuing medical office or pharmacy.3 |" d, N/ F6 w' X9 H- {# V

Please note that no fuels, matches, lighters or other dangerous goods are permitted on board.

Electronic equipment

# G4 Y, a" ?  K! G( F6 t7 X$ k5 U PERMITTEDElectronic items can be placed in your carry-on baggage; however, before bringing an electronic item on-board, you may be asked to turn its power on at the security check.

If you are carrying remotely-controlled equipment such as toys, please ensure they are packed in your checked baggage. This will make clearing of your carry-on baggage much easier.
