When we were the Sick Man of Asia, We were called The Yellow Peril.
* E) j1 l8 f% k6 W! E$ w! _When we are billed to be the next Superpower, we are called The Threat.
When we closed our doors, you smuggled drugs to our open markets.
When we embrace Free Trade, You blame us for taking away your jobs.
, i6 U% o" I2 FWhen we were falling apart, You marched in your troops and took what you wanted.
When we tried to put the broken pieces back together again, Free Tibet you screamed, It Was an Invasion!
When we tried Communism, you hated us for being Communist.
6 t8 P$ C1 ^2 ZWhen we embrace Capitalism, you ridicule us for being Capitalist.
3 B+ }- D6 `" k8 nWhen we have a billion people, you said we were destroying the planet.
. }0 p9 ?2 u1 F9 wWhen we tried limiting our numbers, you said we abused human rights.
7 B/ t2 V" U3 x, o) P* k. dWhen we were poor, you thought we were dogs.
# K1 V' e* ?" A+ D" YWhen we loan you cash, you blame us for your national debt. When we build our industries, you call us Polluters.
: b" k( F2 [8 I1 r/ f* i6 j! iWhen we sell you goods, you blame us for global warming.
% F6 {. C- g3 V8 |$ E# j  wWhen we buy oil, you call it exploitation and genocide.
& d# A8 S: i+ i  b: V1 K/ P5 gWhen you go to war for oil, you call it liberation.
' `3 j3 i2 E0 {; k7 d; sWhen we were lost in chaos and rampage, you demanded rules of law.
" v* E6 S6 {- ]7 K2 O: bWhen we uphold law and order against violence, you call it violating human rights.
* f4 J: k) @$ \4 R' Q$ B: nWhen we were silent, you said you wanted us to have free speech.
When we are silent no more, you say we are brainwashed-xenophobics.
Why do you hate us so much, we asked.No, you answered, we don't hate you.
6 S8 C5 A& u" c3 t2 oWe don't hate you either.

But, do you understand us?

Of course we do, you said,
% z' ~1 B, }$ U- sWe have AFP, CNN and BBC's

What do you really want from us?
/ j3 W" |4 G! c: qThink hard first, then answer...
% P, T- ^9 C8 X2 ^. p4 K/ v& o5 FBecause you only get so many chances.
Enough is Enough, Enough Hypocrisy for This One World.
