* `% C0 m3 M. `$ o) O/ k% B6 t" vKey responsibilities: overseeing the day-to-day activities/operations of the program; recruitment, training & supervision of volunteers for the program; recruitment/orientation of participants; matching newcomers with community volunteers & monitoring the matches; planning other program activities; maintain computer dBase record of services/activities.1 l9 L z7 r( g. g

PLUS: act as a resource person; fulfill program accountability requirements; collaborate, network with other organizations /professionals liaison with ethno-cultural & immigrant community organizations; represent EISA at meetings and functions related to the program. , W; {1 I! T( P

Key Qualifications - Degree or Diploma in social work, social sciences or related areas. > Special requirements include: 2-3 years experience in program coordination; excellent interpersonal/communication skills, cultural sensitivity; knowledge & experience in volunteer management; good knowledge of available community resources/services. # l& |! y$ O' p; G

PLUS: demonstrated computer skills in MS Excel, Access, internet & dBase management programs; experience working with immigrant families and/or settlement services, community development or non-profit org. an asset.
