Position: Youth Services Coordinator

9 H  h9 j, I7 L$ v5 e3 p8 V7 B- Eo        Accountable for Towards  A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program
7 X6 |: C, g7 K& Z7 ao        Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program
% d+ W; g& \% W, p4 k; `: n; lo        Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
o        Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program
o        Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
: L  j9 Z4 g/ ]% Z( S/ p, j' S7 r1 m% so        Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
/ U' ]- G3 h, _( G/ B. D7 Co        Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
2 y& r9 v' N7 t. H. Io        Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
8 z; Y- r. ^" k' mo        Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
* p6 A4 R7 R/ }* g/ A$ n2 Y4 f1 Ho        Be open and willing to explore new ideas
6 B. @- S. p- ], _3 r6 ?o        Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
$ `8 w7 T# ^: y5 S6 l0 co        Be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
7 L- E) A+ [  l* [; k* ao        Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
% T) I. p0 n4 x- g+ _- D( ]o        Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
o        Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
o        Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
