Required: Excellent knowledge of intercultural communication, the immigrant experience, and racism in Canada; experience facilitating workshops in these areas / public-speaking; excellent writing & organizational skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; degree or diploma in human services field. Preferred: Ability to speak French.

: Q% U+ M# H/ \$ B7 K2 k7 lResponsibilities: Coordination of Karibuni project, under the direction of the executive director. This project is centered around the existing film entitled Karibuni, a documentary of the Franco-African immigrant experience in western Canada. An English sub-titled version of the film will be ready by Sept. 1.

8 h M: C1 ~" n# ^: i! m0 d# ]- [Key Tasks: The coordinator will work with our professional development expert and a French-speaking consultant, to develop and deliver educational sessions in English based on the film, to appropriate groups across the country. 9 }4 |4 | m! I7 f( i R
$ K+ G) C* \1 r; [4 |This will involve finding appropriate groups for presentations & making travel arrangements. During the project a user-manual for the video will be created, designed, and printed. Position will involve extensive travel across Canada.% t! Q- T( H( Z$ y T$ o6 V
