Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to: National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities:
; z1 {8 Y- f3 H) _+ K# f `( N• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
; S3 H4 E( Q8 ]/ x$ g, y5 p! g• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
0 v: Y; E& h* ?1 D• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
5 X5 [/ i" v: T6 S4 |; T) ?• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.

• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
+ ?$ T& }! B4 v0 r& k N; |• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
# |# z* [; x7 B0 G2 @$ T. K• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive. v8 m' \/ y/ R
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.: s$ p9 Q h' B; _' ^) X5 `! P& Z
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
# e8 M$ X/ b( `& v• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
4 M3 X) _9 i" _( W+ L7 l/ ~: m+ s• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.5 v+ ]3 U0 a# f* T' {
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.- n( }2 }, Q( I2 }3 L8 `
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

1 a; D6 \$ t9 g9 {0 o+ y• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
% @9 Z! G1 P0 {0 h( t9 c• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ) p& f4 q3 h6 A. j
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. # }0 A: `' H" i
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. ' r) W% ?" ?3 V2 i" i7 i
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
