: E) I& n* f% b, f8 w0 `9 f DMajor Responsibilities:
" Z% i% y- e( |6 y3 Q• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
2 D% j+ \0 r- x, Q$ `3 ^: _• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.7 O3 b' q' G6 o. a' R x
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 7 j, l/ S- H( s& l' ^* v* f
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
" w% G$ [, E3 h. e# f# ^6 A• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
2 { Z5 ~6 |% R+ W% v7 ]• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
& ~+ h* w. i- I7 f8 {• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
; k" h* O @" u• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
K8 ]) I/ T. R- l• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools." I* O% F" T7 I. R, X: o" y4 `
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
l; t8 ]# S( j; c• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
! S" v* ~% s+ O; z• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.1 u' m3 {" B7 e- ~. }
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required., b9 F. T# Z' G s* n. \9 t$ C3 X* q9 i

Qualifications:9 P. W, c1 V0 u1 w
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
, V L% U% u8 N9 o5 b4 W• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
: A" I, y1 f9 F! Q• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
D* C8 o1 d. ~* C9 N# U2 w0 H• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
- M c7 ?( z0 Q+ L3 N! a% v• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential, j8 x6 |; S. {7 M* N" b
• Not scared of heights
) Z4 `% ]; S, ~, F• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
4 g0 o# F& a$ A! n• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
* _6 \2 I1 P$ k0 o+ X• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
