The pain of our loss is beyond anything we could

0 b$ z: i" L! j7 x& ^8 `% _> depth of our loss. That is true. But we know of One
0 ~8 c) Q0 R- F2 b* a/ a1 Q> who does understand and
> feel our pain because He lost His son, too. It
> happened when God gave the
> sinless life of His son ant the cross to redeem
& [- h& ~! M4 h" N> sinful lives and to purchase
> forgiveness for us all. There days later, He raised
7 ]1 h& |# q8 n6 T> His son from the dead
! [# F+ {* Z0 K5 C+ v5 P> and conquered death. It is though this event where
> human history was
> intersected by divine grace and mercy that we have
> hope. This hope, that's
> what's sustaining us. It's not an idle wish, but a
: e7 `! K8 l5 ~! G' e" N> certainty based on the
2 d8 X; F& H: K> promise of God. And this hope fills us with eager
4 ^' r) z+ j2 b6 F, V3 o$ C> anticipation and a longing
> for the time when we shall be forever with the Lord.

> will ease the pain of our loss, as the Prince of
> Peace comes to our hearts
