几乎在与上一枪击案发生的同时，一位男性遇刺身亡，而其他几位则被警察拘捕。据爱民屯警察新闻发布会透露，事情起因于两个帮派在后院小道上的争吵。

在大约山地时间凌晨2:45左右，警察发现一辆车正在靠近Whyte Avenue的Gateway Boulevard上逆向行驶。

警察上前停住了这两车，发现车辆中有一位24岁的男性乘客伤势严重。

One male passenger fled from the vehicle before police arrived, and reports indicate a small white car was seen fleeing the scene after the shots were fired.

0 z; ^* X7 u3 ?) X$ aMeanwhile, one male is dead and another is in police custody after an altercation between two groups in an alley early Sunday morning, according to an EPS press release.

, J& e; E% k' C; ^/ {At approximately 2:45 a.m. MT, officers spotted a vehicle being driven the wrong way on Gateway Boulevard near Whyte Avenue.

Upon stopping the car, the officers learned that one of the passengers, a 24-year-old male, was seriously injured.

, v! b% o8 x7 e& }: EHe was taken to hospital, where he died of his injuries.

A police investigation revealed that the three male occupants of the vehicle had been involved in a physical altercation with two other males and a female near an alley south of Whyte Avenue, between Gateway Boulevard and Calgary Trail, which resulted in one male being stabbed.

- \# r+ D. Y# z& p' NThe three suspects were located by police immediately following the vehicle stop. A 32-year-old male is in custody and charges are pending.

Police said the individuals are not known to each other and the incident does not appear to be gang- or drug-related.
