Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
) ^$ T  o0 H$ d# }6 z- a•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
6 t0 `( y1 `2 F" Z8 \) A5 `7 b•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
) C8 A' Z8 C3 f1 `2 k, t•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
$ i# v/ X2 B( [$ k( ?: J% _6 q•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
! m  Y1 j- ~' P7 u- Y•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
$ e1 X) l  l* Z) {- k•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
0 M  m$ W% }+ v8 c1 \; H•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
