Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

$ C: P0 v" i$ |) cJob Description – Responsibilities
/ L' G9 X- u0 N! a•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
8 p, i; @& k4 D+ t5 S/ `; c- y•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
  A4 e4 t# C" o•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
' }0 E6 O: V6 V6 L& ^! `•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
7 t$ A! [" h; d$ v# R, S/ q% a•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
