Position: Youth Services Manager
8 V' _2 f# {1 j; w( {: ], BFull time position (35 hours each week)

; J/ U! f- U4 n- m' A$ ZJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
3 _1 a8 r6 @& E5 x3 f•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
" Q1 F& }7 B# `* A' B•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
9 K. Q# g; U0 _& {& r4 e•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
% A. h8 Q5 a$ G•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

) X3 Z% {+ J, R! L0 XQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
% y# x7 t3 `4 S1 P+ m1 A•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
