% D5 A' X7 }! gPosition: Youth Services Manager

  ~( F( S4 I# P7 ZJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
5 i9 [* m' O- t* l( G•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
; w6 u8 {- b  M* c5 R/ j•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
; I) J4 b; |! Q' P•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
8 a7 j2 R# Z! @: J•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
6 A/ d; g, j& n- V  w9 y4 I•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
5 F$ z# B& ]5 i/ _& G& |•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
7 ~( ^9 s5 l0 w/ V/ h8 S•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
5 R7 {0 R$ Q# M0 j•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
