Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

! w1 y1 W0 k% B6 b. @" RJob Description – Responsibilities
6 c4 N' i% W9 H2 ?2 d7 g% K, R•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
& B9 v0 |: i& A$ ]& x•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
$ T& F5 G2 g( [- g# a•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
2 k4 l6 p/ h/ _) q$ H/ Q•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
7 R# G7 f9 }! e1 x•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
6 F. F. M3 r! f4 L•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
1 _, }5 r4 Y6 b/ H•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

! j2 M, r; G* ]& w6 S  O7 q7 aQualifications
& ], \. q; H! P! A•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
7 F- B# ^4 A# A•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
* _$ w. y: Z0 ~$ P•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn

•        requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
