Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
, {% X3 Y! w4 F$ C6 N•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
- M$ O1 H7 m6 w6 Z•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
1 V* ^8 Z# U1 j•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
6 q+ ^4 H+ [9 D# b5 z! y; e' ^•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
5 W' F; S" p, H( Y8 A; i•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
* v' E# ^) r2 c9 C1 s  z•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
# T! l* L2 y7 U6 l" I•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

# M/ T3 l5 e, C" c# \Qualifications
1 u0 s1 U! q7 c$ N# I  e•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
) \3 |5 i8 m2 d' r3 R1 q4 z•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
& N9 ~  G% O. |( @+ W•        willingness to learn
