Full time position (35 hours each week)
) R% w2 l) v; a. b) |' ~0 C& T
Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
) f) |) R) S: o4 z/ T•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
7 h8 P# R7 x& m( s0 _% n0 _•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
" b/ w# n0 c0 h. P( P•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
$ @7 }4 U5 \+ m& G; c•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
) j4 C( }$ t3 E•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

4 p$ ]8 c; S- QQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
! v2 D; p/ L4 q8 `•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
1 s6 i0 a' S3 w' X- d0 o•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
) k: ]' w' N; C+ [, w•        willingness to learn
