Job Description -
; r* y: {* h7 R2 i4 p* B$ e% P0 SRadio Network Controller (RNC) is the brains of the UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access Network (UTRAN). It is responsible for handling all the details of establishing and maintaining wireless calls and to support mobility as users move between cells, thus ensuring constant connectivity for voice and data (including video). As a member of the UMTS Radio Network Controller (RNC) software development team, this position is responsible for design, implementation, design testing, support and trouble shooting C/C++ call processing software and User-Plane software in the UMTS RNC. ; ~8 U) y. o5 r% u

To be successful, the employee must understand the fundamental principles of wireless telephony, have excellent knowledge of C/C++ and be experienced with real-time systems. Also an asset is sound knowledge of VxWorks, UMTS networks, UMTS standards, time management and multi-tasking skills. 2 [5 |+ W* j: R; h' A/ N

- Linux development environment
