Cantruss, 俺来说两句。。。。哎哟,谁在扔砖头?!
"Cantruss", as well called as "Uni-strud", or "C channel", is a very commonly used industrial/commercial standard framing/supporting material, usually used to make a sort of brackets as a support to Cable Tray by using spring nuts and bolts, or use "P Clamp" to hold pipes/conduits/cables, even sometime are used to bolt onto another material directly. * I1 ]! w C# D7 U4 ~
* i4 e# O5 I+ ]; [9 p' |; ^8 A9 Sthe most commonly used size of cantruss also called standard cantruss has its dimension of 2 5/8" by 1 7/16", with holes bored on either side or just a whole piece. other than that, we also use "shallow cantruss", which is half the depth of standard size or "double cantruss", which is pre-manufactured two standard cantruss simply back to back welded together.0 z* A( e' r1 M4 v- z& p( D B

Most cantruss are made by steel, however, we do see aluminum cantruss some time as well, for an instance, the rung or a ladder tray.

: i* w6 M: R8 uThe best way to cut a contruss is by using chop saw, however chop saws are banded on some jobsite in Alberta, which is very wired. other means of cutting a contruss might be band saw, sawsall(reciprocating saw), or hydraulic cantruss cutter. Hacksaw does work as well, by you might need a little bit musle!

Most common ways to put cantruss together is by welding, drill hole and bolt it together, or using some pre-fabricated "T" or "L" shape joiners+ f; [* g2 A+ l% {

' b4 ^* ?! `0 M6 hSteel cantruss is usually galvanized for corrosion resistance, but the galvanize also causes some problem and generate poison gas when welding . So, remember to grind the galvanize off about half inch back at either end of the welding points before you deliver it to a welder will be highly appreciated by welders.$ Z5 L2 P( s# k, M( V
