Cantruss, 俺来说两句。。。。哎哟，谁在扔砖头？！
"Cantruss", as well called as "Uni-strud", or "C channel", is a very commonly used industrial/commercial standard framing/supporting material, usually used to make a sort of brackets as a support to Cable Tray by using spring nuts and bolts, or use "P Clamp" to hold pipes/conduits/cables, even sometime are used to bolt onto another material directly. ) Z8 k) s5 a, J9 s, k
6 v' b0 q1 F2 m% |( ]the most commonly used size of cantruss also called standard cantruss has its dimension of 2 5/8" by 1 7/16", with holes bored on either side or just a whole piece. other than that, we also use "shallow cantruss", which is half the depth of standard size or "double cantruss", which is pre-manufactured two standard cantruss simply back to back welded together.% J! e+ H; k6 q) `3 o W) `* u
6 Q+ K( c1 {9 d4 X9 X- v- RMost cantruss are made by steel, however, we do see aluminum cantruss some time as well, for an instance, the rung or a ladder tray.( u" w8 S7 y' ~( u+ ^* T2 }: d) Y
) f" f3 x* O' y$ f7 lThe best way to cut a contruss is by using chop saw, however chop saws are banded on some jobsite in Alberta, which is very wired. other means of cutting a contruss might be band saw, sawsall(reciprocating saw), or hydraulic cantruss cutter. Hacksaw does work as well, by you might need a little bit musle!

Most common ways to put cantruss together is by welding, drill hole and bolt it together, or using some pre-fabricated "T" or "L" shape joiners1 k g( R: Y: M+ |- k3 y. d1 X

Steel cantruss is usually galvanized for corrosion resistance, but the galvanize also causes some problem and generate poison gas when welding . So, remember to grind the galvanize off about half inch back at either end of the welding points before you deliver it to a welder will be highly appreciated by welders.* O) H- c5 Q9 N( {
