"Cantruss", as well called as "Uni-strud", or "C channel", is a very commonly used industrial/commercial standard framing/supporting material, usually used to make a sort of brackets as a support to Cable Tray by using spring nuts and bolts, or use "P Clamp" to hold pipes/conduits/cables, even sometime are used to bolt onto another material directly.

Most common ways to put cantruss together is by welding, drill hole and bolt it together, or using some pre-fabricated "T" or "L" shape joiners X& n; J4 H7 y1 k2 B+ ~# N0 @" l

( @4 l# E! {% E: ESteel cantruss is usually galvanized for corrosion resistance, but the galvanize also causes some problem and generate poison gas when welding . So, remember to grind the galvanize off about half inch back at either end of the welding points before you deliver it to a welder will be highly appreciated by welders.0 L Z4 [1 e* n3 A# I
