A twelve-week training program for careers in Child Care.

knowledge to help them succeed in entry-level child care positions.

• WHMIS& N+ W6 d4 {" M! B
• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care& y. N" }( |2 W6 \& i: [$ V
• Components to improve communication skills; b% M% B! f( y; O3 p5 B
• Modules on Work Place Culture and Work Search4 f( g! H& G4 t
• Practicum Placements

• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen! p+ N2 h7 @ Y
of Canada3 Z$ K5 u3 {% D6 I5 A. P
• have a Social Insurance Number) H% Q; p0 ~, _& }; o
• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check
$ P& ^, @1 k+ g• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent! H5 U% ?& d* R6 W- v" q( Q; h* X
• demonstrate commitment to participating in a 12 week full-time

Participants may be eligible for Grant Funding if they meet
$ }$ i7 o' g$ ~the following requirements, in addition to the one listed above:

They CANNOT quit their job to take the course
