A twelve-week training program for careers in Child Care.

The program includes the following elements:
( ]7 O# U+ y; j! Y) q• Orientation Course for Child Care Staff (Level 1)
5 o, P; A7 {8 W0 E2 `• Standard Child Care First Aid5 r. ^$ W* K7 e4 U& w6 }% F* J
• WHMIS) z/ r9 I2 \. z( [8 l+ o
• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care
/ m; z6 t! t7 I# p$ d2 \• Components to improve communication skills

• Practicum Placements

( b8 s, m3 e3 L F J• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen
( W: T& p" f7 k8 e7 ]" Hof Canada
. o8 d/ }/ o- D; D1 {$ }• have a Social Insurance Number
) E0 c0 H& _+ p0 {6 b3 X7 T• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check
7 P2 n8 C3 c. E% @# a" d7 Y s1 m• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent% U; t M+ B% D: L3 p
• demonstrate commitment to participating in a 12 week full-time

the following requirements, in addition to the one listed above:

They CANNOT quit their job to take the course
