language art. In English schools, on the curriculum schedule, language art includes writing, reading skills, and so on. Kind " 语文". If you particularly mean Chinese study, you might say mandarin language art.

汉语拼音的好处就是给传播中国语言提供了一个缓冲。先把中文的读音都渗透进英语里面,以后再变成文字就好办多了,呵呵。
