Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator

- Organize focus group(s)
2 H& o+ d# }' d$ U9 J% O2 L7 s- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
% c) g" S' G" k7 L- Recruit children for summer program
! c+ y# k; u9 l7 C" I- Provide orientation for parents
$ b1 p  ?+ s6 s) i" I2 \- Find sponsors to enhance program
' A7 |+ h+ ?( X- Supervise volunteer(s)
1 `# H5 D5 S# F- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
4 R1 e4 x7 S. o/ `
5 {, Z/ [! _' l1 ]- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
2 P  t, p, r1 b. j- good computer skills
* s  N5 {( o  Q, `8 s! O2 }1 h3 ?- leadership abilities
3 G8 I, S; ~1 d- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
