: J. [3 X1 X+ k. J$ H, u* Z * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications' t. b2 [5 C t2 H# n
* Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
" i$ I! }: ?. p1 c# D0 Y2 k * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
! V% v+ V/ J0 `+ D * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
& }+ r' O) H9 X; q3 d" D6 b2 f# b * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies
# S" G' d0 f) R, @ * Delivers completed data to users; maintains instrument and safety logs( c) T. p1 l; A4 G
* Assists in the upkeep of safety procedures and information; completes routine checks on safety equipment

Qualifications
