* Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications

V" [" p# R: c * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies* I# u9 w* U/ {0 ~3 d( D1 V" k
* Delivers completed data to users; maintains instrument and safety logs4 [" t/ v4 s' L" q1 Z( e! u2 Q. I! e" p
