Responsibilities:
0 {' i+ N7 Z \- Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program ; [/ j0 D. B" m, m# q
(ages 6 to 15) * r! w* H# B* ?, ]' Q1 d; o9 Y
- Recruit children for summer programs
$ g6 k: [) ^$ q# m- Recruit volunteers for summer programs
- I4 h L$ t# M/ H, B: N- Record keeping
, C' C3 u2 Q7 B" n- Provide orientation for parents
! N, `% a1 ?8 d: a# l4 O" i+ J' P- Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency, z) o+ h0 i& d- s4 a
- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager0 @3 ]* ^, z, Y9 y V2 g7 B
+ G D4 k# h7 ~' j5 ^Qualifications:: T. ]; q) o' j4 k
- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education( v: j! n# `# M5 _! t+ Q2 b1 d6 Z
- Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
4 d$ Q% C6 c. P" W7 Q! Z- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
3 s# k. m+ S7 V4 G9 ^0 U- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
( x6 I' p+ ~) A) s5 ^3 ^- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

6 N* j \% O, [& }- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning)

- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

- $15 per hour
