Children’s Summer Program Assistant, 2009; w% r# ]* r; U; Y

Responsibilities:
2 {8 F- R% b' X9 D5 \, A- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the 9 c- R2 E! A6 e# {) P+ N
preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps( u) N0 M& `7 S! U! k
- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program3 N2 k. J( O0 W
- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
% z5 m8 N; r( R4 T) B4 m- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program

) v- \0 {( ~- Q8 |5 R f- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood 8 y; T0 n2 y- n4 d
Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
* z3 K- \, J. _- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children5 [& W3 K1 l% }; N( ]! T: V( B9 [
- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
3 V9 r( z, M [7 ^; Q- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities- o' q" R% q; L2 C; v' |9 O
- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese; r+ c" L h0 i) H' t
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities8 T' _: W8 r3 d, {' F; Z( A
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. P: R6 G7 }( t; N3 J" T7 j
- Returning student (should return to school after summer)' D- c' M% r0 m {

! E4 e! L' K N! Z- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning) ) H9 j( j8 {+ _8 ~- U5 s
and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps); M; o$ L/ a& Y
- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
