Youth Summer Program Assistant, 2009

7 x( Q: X; ^5 l/ s/ W% e- Support the Youth Program Coordinator in the preparation and
* E& i& F$ m% g/ Q' \+ t4 K% X implementation of the Summer Camps; N1 y) F9 X! z& b
- Assist with facilitating the summer program
* }+ S' t( C1 L- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies% [" L$ O; p4 Y }; a; |1 I
- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Youth Program Coordinator G1 K3 G" `2 T- t7 S
* `7 Q! b2 h* f& ~+ GQualifications:) t% l' g; D7 Y
- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood / j5 ]) F6 V7 }# X8 p
Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education9 d! O- g, G; z: d& b
- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
, i5 B( R+ X+ r- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
* I1 J9 u( H2 m5 N7 I: w- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
. ^" ~( a$ m2 C' q& r9 |5 T- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
3 D0 J" e$ u$ T* F- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
h+ g3 Y$ m. w2 V' W$ P and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
$ R& @. t( v, `4 S6 ]- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009# b' R! o+ ]" a) @! r4 n

- $14.00 per hour
