Job Description
  a  H0 W- d0 eSummer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
/ K8 K& U, [" z* V* v0 \" PResponsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
1 p& p' W" o  l8 |7 d3 M8 a, ^- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
* @9 {# E$ b' @! o- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
6 l/ `; R4 V7 C* b3 K  L- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

6 m7 Z% j% }- U; r3 }Qualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
* Q* H% J! U  e4 ?7 x- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
9 z% d9 M( h6 A) r& I- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
2 ]- _+ `! s& M/ W" U- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
