Housing Program Worker

6 @8 }! v7 S' hKey Responsibilities:
' ^  Z, q! j' o. o0 B To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
$ A% N! U' w4 ]6 |/ _ To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
- t  c  ?# t% g: ~9 d; Q9 J& S To help promote the program in the community.
7 J" f- C7 _) p8 b& i' X To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

3 ]" ]: c( ?) g4 PQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
. z0 ]7 W2 I" \1 Y# X 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
& N2 l- S. Z5 b9 r/ O, M Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
