support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern + m3 N7 t' F* C

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
, b+ Y K, n. ]- A- G: F6 A5 ?: kFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as

5 z( u7 U9 r, P" [4 M- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library / B3 t1 f. e! h% J/ S/ T6 s
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 6 Y, \; [7 u, X& }( J N# T: {
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
' k" b) ]4 [ \# I) T/ M- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure . h! c0 F7 ~+ S6 O G) O9 M
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

secondary training, university preferred

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: , S0 h8 @: ~0 \8 o' ~
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred 5 @2 N9 z" |! K

- Interest in working for an arts organization that is governed by a Board of Directors
